Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a health care system which directly concerns itself with the nervous system and its relation to the function of the human body. Interference with the body's muscular, nervous and skeletal systems impairs many important body functions and lowers resistance to disease. Chiropractors correct vertebral subluxations (vertebrae in the spine which have lost their normal position and are causing pressure on connected tissue, joints and nerves) which inhibit the body from allowing total health. In addition, Chiropractors may use physiotherapy, massage therapy, exercises, and nutrition counseling.

Chiropractors are concerned with a patients overall well-being and recognize that many factors affect health, including: stress, exercise, diet, rest, environment and heredity. Chiropractic is the largest, drugless, natural healing profession in the world, which emphasizes the inherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery.

The key to understanding Chiropractic is to remember that health comes from within, and Chiropractic trys to utilize the healing power within your body.
